Dr. Jaime Brown is an experienced leader with expertise in research, evaluation, knowledge mobilization, strategy and systems planning. For two decades, Jaime has enjoyed working with communities, academics, government and non-profit leaders on initiatives related to health, mental health and addictions services, disability supports, justice, child and youth development, collective impact and cross-sectoral community interventions.

Prior to joining Strides Toronto, Jaime was the National Director of Knowledge to Action at March of Dimes Canada, overseeing community-based research and service evaluation. Jaime also served as the Director of Knowledge Mobilization at the Knowledge Institute on Child and Youth Mental Health and Addictions, leading evidence-to-practice initiatives across Ontario’s child and youth mental health sector. Since 2021, she has been a core instructor in the Knowledge Mobilization Certificate program at the University of Guelph.

Jaime earned her doctorate in Applied Social Psychology, focusing on social justice and access issues, patient engagement and evaluation in health services.

Jaime brings her passion for community engagement and evidence-based decision making to all she does. She is known for being pragmatic, engaging and ever mindful of theories of change and intended impact.
